General
A borgo is a hamlet or is also called a hamlet. It is often a small walled fortress or a group of farms that form a unit. Borgo Cozze Alte falls in the second category and is located in the municipality of Arcevia, province of Ancona, near the town of Caudino. A dirt road from the ridge leads to the tree-lined grounds. The location guarantees absolute privacy and beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding hills and mountains. The architectural style of the buildings is characteristic of the region.
Floorplan
It concerns a spacious complex of a total of six buildings. Four outbuildings with a respective surface area of 63, 66, 106 and 120 square meters, are grouped around the main building and thus the complex forms a logical whole. One of the outbuildings has a pizza oven. The sixth building, an old farm with an area of 280 square meters, is located at the entrance to the borgo. This is the most historic object and it needs to be completely restored.
Possibilities
The elongated main building of approximately 450 square meters has two floors and two entrances and is built in natural stone. Four very spacious apartments can easily be realized in this part. The basic condition of this building is reasonable. The complex is particularly suitable for the realization of a large-scale tourist activity. A total of 8 to 10 spacious apartments spread over the different buildings is certainly not impossible. The grouping of the different buildings around the main building is ideal for the realization of a holiday complex in which communality and privacy go hand in hand. After all, almost anything is possible with a total floor space of approximately 1000 square meters. If desired, a project is available.
