It doesn't seem like a logical step at the moment. Leaving home and country behind you and moving to Italy, everyone has something else on their mind. You would think.… But here is movement in the Italian real estate market. Really… it seems unlikely but several objects have been sold, several customers have traveled with us and several serious inquiries have been received.
When the Corona crisis hit, there was a total standstill on the real estate market in the Le Marche region. Like the whole life actually came to a standstill or at least was put on hold. My gut said, however, that the consequence of this pandemic and the associated Lock Down could well be a growing interest in living in more sparsely populated areas. More space, fresh air, stunning views and a simpler life, in contact with nature. A place where all services can be found at a reasonable distance. And that prediction came true… well, we can still call the trend "cautiously positive" for the time being. The requests are currently diverse, although the preference for starting a tourist activity with Glamping scores high again.
In addition to the new inquiries from customers, there are of course the "unyielding" who had set their sights on an Italian dream house long before Covid-19 and were by no means deterred by the horror stories in March and April! I think they were strengthened in their choice before. For example, it happened that I recently unexpectedly sat with a notary in Fermo for the translation of a special power of attorney with clients who had come to me through acquaintances. Due to an administrative bump on the way to the final deed and subsequent uncertainty about a passing date, a special power of attorney was decided. That is of course a great option in these troubled times! The buyers appoint a representative who will sign the deed in their name when the moment is there. The authorization is of course bilingual and the interpreter and the bilingual witness are required to be present. This way, the customer knows that the deed can always go ahead, even if entry restrictions are imposed again. It gives a bit of freedom and tranquility. {module Pb_procura}
